TEACHERS’ GRADING.
SIZE OF PRIMARY SCHOOLB. OPINIONS TO BE SOUGHT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. The possibility of substituting something better Ilian the grading of primary school teachers was discussed by the Educational Institute to-day. The chief inspector, Mr Mcllraith, look pari, in the discussion. lie -said lie did not think they could limit schools lo 400 pupils and advised that the Institute should frame a remit on lines that could be adopted. The executive's recommendations were finally referred to all branches for an expression of opinion.
