NO REAL ANIMOSITY.
ITALY AND BRITAIN. MUSSOLINI’S REFORMS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Friday. “ There is no real animosity among Italians towards British people concerning the ltalian-Abyssinlan campaign and the application of sanctions, ’ said Dr. P. Piscitelli, who is returning to Queensland by the Monterey after visiting his native land alter a lapse of 11 years. Dr. Piscitelli said the opposition of the Italians was solely to Britain’s foreign policy and not her people, and the British Empire, lie said Mussolini plans to make Italy economically independent from the agricultural point of view. His efforts were being attended by every success and the Fascist Government had greatly improved living conditionsHe had been much impressed by the modern blocks of flats for workmen in the new towns on the Pontine marshes, towns which Mussolini in person helped to construct. Splendid work was also done in the colony of Tripoli.
