WORLD WARNED
IRREVOCABLY ITALIAN. MUSSOLINI AND SANCTIONS. EMPI-RE CAN BE DEFENDED. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. PARIS, May 15. In a special interview with a representative of Le Matin, Signor Mussolini recalled the fact that, he had stated in September that military sanctions would lead to a danger of recasting the map of Europe. He added: “ What I then said of military sanctions I repeat now in respect of economic sanctions. I- say that Abyssinia is irrevocably Italian — irrevocably. I repeat that again and again. All Europe must hear the word. “ Let the world know that the Italian people, to-morrow if necessary, can defend their Empire with all their courage and force.”
