No Australian offering. ‘ AUCKLAND Rriday. i Advices from London state that the Imarket for butter shows a sharp ad« ‘vance and New Zeaiand is quoted is to 25 higher at 925 per cwt. There ‘is a firm demand. A firm and steady market for butter is anticipated by \V. Weddel and Company, Limited, London, which bases its View on the strong spot position. Arrivals or New Zealand butter during May, June and July will be some 4000 tons above last season. and arrivals during August and September will, no doubt, also be heavier than last year.
The company states that the cheese market is still very strong and the statistical position is firmer than it hag been for many years.
