The Wellington Timber Merchants‘ Association appears to be preparing builders and contractors for advice of changes in the price schedules. The trade. has been notiiied that: “ Following on the proposed reduc—tion of hours of work and increased rates of pay. we wish to take this opportunity of advising that our existing price list is subject. to alteratlon without notice, and that all orders placed with us after May 5 will be charged at the list rate ruling at the date of de~ livery.
