A girl attendant in a cloak-room and three other persons were killed early this morning in a panic which fol—lowed a tire in a cabaretAn entertainer was performing a dance with a burning torch in each hand and a patron of the cabaret attempted to light a clgarette from one of them. The dancerderked the torch away. and. in doing so, ignited papier mache decorations. In a moment the room was in flames.

The four victims were crushed to death in the rush for ma exit, and nine other persons were injured.
