GIRLS’ CLUB DANCE.
FUNCTION AT TE AWAMUTU. The St. John‘s Girls” Club of Te Awamutu held their first dance of the season in the Parish Hall on Wednes~ clay evening. The function was a most successful one and was largely attended by both local and visiting lfriends of the club. Coloured streamers and balloons in shades of red, orange and yellow were used as decorations in the hall and in the supper room bowls of marigolds and autumn leaves were arranged. Dance music was played by R. Ensor's orchestra. which was relieved by Miss J. Palmer and Mr \\'- Corboy. Novelty dances were won by Miss Mollie Cruickshank and I’.
