The Misses Phyllis and Maris Langley wcre hostesses at. their home in M‘ "'r Street recently at a delightful gift evening for Miss Beryl Foster, whose marriage will take place lo—morrow. . The time passed very happily in games and competitions which were won 'by Misses Pat and Ellen Tombs. The I'DUlllS looked very charming with bowls of tawny vchrysanth'emums and gold berries and a delicious sup—per was served after which the gifts were opened by the guest of honour. Miss Phyllis Langley was wearing ebony moire and Miss Mavis Langley purine violet. blister crepe. The guest of honour‘s frock was of turquoise L-lua diagonal crepe.
