An unknown man, aged about 25, fellvfrom Grafton Bridge at 2 p.m. today and was killed. He was seen to climb the parapet. He then threw down some letters and called out “ Good-bye.” The body was later found in the gully. GUILTY OF RECEIVING. JUDGE EXTENDS LENIENCY. Wellington, luesaay. James Vernon Brown, found guilty yesterday or receiving six wireless sets, with a recommendation to mercy, was to-day admitted by Mr Justice Smith to probation for three years and ordered to pay £ls 3s 6d, tho costs of the prosecution.
