BIG BLOCK DESTROYED. AN UNCUMPLETED PROPOSAL. (By Telegraph—Press Assam-lion.) PAHIATUA. Monday. A fire a! one, o‘clock this morning destroyed the entire, block of buildings owned by the Pringle Estate. and occupied by Mr A. D. Bauckam. grocer; Mr l~‘~ \V’. Pullyn, dentist; Mr A, E. South, baker; and Mr E. E. Etz, tailor. The efforts of the brigade were hopeless, duo to inadequate water pressure.
