Mentionins that the Bowling Club hod refused the Beautitylng Society‘s ule of the grandstand at Victoria Park, Mr H. C. Rainey asked for information resuming the club‘s tenure. Mr Spinlay said that he was not sure of the terms or the tenure. but the pavilion was the property or the Domain Board and the Bowling Club certainly had no right to refuse the Beautifylng Society access to the building. its recent decision was very regrettable. The chairman said the board dati—nitely owned the pavilion. while Mr 3. Gifford mentioned that tho contents of the pavilion and part. of the equip—ncnt belonged to the Bowling Club. “ I! the bowlers will not. allow the building to be used by the Beautlfying Society it must expert to my mort‘ for the axclusive right," said the i'lltllrman.
