TE AWAMUTU CROQUET.
FINAL DAY OF SEASON. \ There was a good attendance at the Victoria Park Lawns, Te Awamutu, on Tuesday for the final day of the Te Awamutu Croquet Club’s season. A “bring and buy” stall created considerable interest and resulted in a substantial sum being contributed to the club's funds. Games were played during the afternoon and afternoon tea was served. The prizes presented by I lie president, Mrs G. 0. Jourdain. were as follows: Collins Cup. Mrs McArthur; B doubles, Mesdames Paseoe and Angus; progressive croquet. Mesdames McArthur and Meredith: break croquet, Mesdames Nobes and Lee; stepping the chain. Mrs Meredith. Competitions were won by Mesdames Meredith, Webber, Davis. Oliver, Cowley and Mr Meredith.
