YOUNG PEOPLE’S CLUB DANCE.
The Morrinsville Young People’s Social and Dance Club held an enjoyable dance recently in the Masonic
Hall. Music by an orchestra was supplemented by extras by Mrs G. Lingard. Mr C. Skett was M.C. Mrs M. Ban, who was hostess, was accorded musical honours at the close of the evening. Among those present were: Mesdames M. Ban, wearing silk maroqainG. Lingard, pink chiffon; Misses Cora Ban, shell pink crinkle crepe; C Ban, crinkle crepe; D. Bennett, mauve voile; E. Brightwell, scarlet marocain, silver trimmings; K. Casey, blue chiflon; M. Fausett, shell pink marocain; J. File, cream crinkle crepe; F. Hishon, scarlet marocain: E. Gillard, pink floral organdie; B. Hutchinson, rust crinkle crepe and sequins; R. Mellars, D. Redshaw, black satin; T. smith, green and lemon crinkle crepe; E. Thompson, royal blue satin; V. Tvvyeman, white crepe de chine. Novelty d/nces were won by Mr K. Clark and Miss M. Fausett, Mr J. Hishon and Miss C. Ban, and Mr R Young and Miss D. Bennett.
