TO-MORROW’S GAMES. SIX TEAMS ENGAGED. Postponed from last week owing to the weather, the South Auckland Football Association senior competition will commence to-morrow, when all | six teams will 'be engaged. The local attraction will be Wanderers v. Pukemiro, at Sedclon Park, at 8 p.m. Wanderers are reputed to have lost several of last season’s stalwarts and may have difficulty in avoiding defeat. They will be sure to fight hard and a good game should ensure. Mr E. R. Marsh will be the referee. Claudelands Rovers will make a trip to Rotowaro, to tho mining team of that, township. The Rovers are stronger Ihts year, with Clark a notable addition to their defence, while Rutherford also will probably be assisting -the Rovers against his former team. The other game is between Starr Town and the newly promoted Glen Massey team. It will be a test of strength for the promoted juniors, but they may find last year’s champions too big a hurdle to overcome. -Claudelands Rovers. The Claudelands Rovers team to play Rotowaro at Rotowaro. will be selected from the following:—Webster, Rutherford, Clark, Francis. Davies, Rogers, Crabb, Farr, Kennedy. Wallace, Parks, Moore, D. Crabb. Cara leave Para Rubber Company at 1.30 sharp. Wanderers. Burdis, Black and McLean; Clarkson, Caldwell and Bullock; Rennie and Crabb; Stewart, Donaldson, and Jackson. Reserves: Fisher, MacDonald, C. Crabb. SOUTH AUCKLAND AFFAIRS. MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. Mr J. Baillie presided at the executive meeting of the South Auckland Football Association, when advice was received from the New Zealand Council that Wednesday, July 22, was definitely fixed as the date for the South Auckland —Australia match. The Hamilton Rugby Union notified its agreement to the use of Rugby Park lor this game, subject to the approval of the Domain Board. Glen Massey were admitted to the senior 'competition, the secretary intimating that the fixtures could be arranged by Glen Massey playing the team with the bye each Saturday. A further effort is to be made to get entries for the junior competition from lower Waikato clubs. All clubs are to be asked to nominate members of a selection committee which is to 'Consist of three. It was decided to hold executive meetings fortnightly, the next meeting to be on May 21.
