BLUEJACKETS’ OFFENCE.
CONVERSION OF CAR. 1 AUCKLAND, Thursday. Two bluejackets from the warship Dunedin,/ Fred Hawthorne Mallinson and Albert Dudley Kaye, pleaded guilty in the Police Court to-day to converting a motor-car. the property of Walter 13oad, at Bluff. The police said the car was taken ! from outside a theatre, run into a ditch and damaged to the extent of ! £43. Mr F. K. Hunt. S.M.. handed the men over to the naval authorities to he dealt with and ordered Kaye to pay £ls and Mallinson £2B.
