NEW BRIDGE 511' TE HUTIWAI. After various delays the building of the bridge over the Stoney Creek at the Te Hutlwal ford has been put. in hand. It will probably be a few months before it is completed. During heavy rain the creek floods qulckly and traffic is often held up for hours In wet weather. The Weather. The weather during the past week at Te Mata has been exceptionally rough and stormy and many farmers are notlcln‘g the effect on their cream supplies, l: the condltlons do not improve farmers may‘ start {ceding out hay. ‘1 Ping Pong. A meetlng‘ called to form a pln'g pong club in Te mata last week, was well nt< tended. A number or enthusiasts and old players were present and a. club was formed, Mr A. V. Cornes being elected president and Mr Rodney Bar-net secretary. It was decided. to hold weekly practlce meetings.
