MATAMATA BTOOK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report: A very large yarding of all classes of cattle was penned' at our Matamata stock sale yesterday, when prices generally were eaiser. There was a medium yarding of fat pigs, but a full yarding of store pigs met, with spirited bidding and changed hands under the hammer at late rates. Quotations: — Prime fat heifers, to £l2 6s; heavy fat cows, £9 15s to £ll 13s; fat cows, £B 10s to £9 ss; lighter, £6 2s 6d to £7 12s 6d; forward conditioned heifers, £4 5s to £6 Is; store cows, £3 2s 6d to £4 15s; boner cows, £1 5s to £2 10s; cows with, calves, £2 to £6 ss; service bulls, £5 to £7; choice yearling Jersey heifers, £5; 5s to £6 8s; others, £2 to £4 15s; yearling steers, £2 to £3 4s; two year empty heifers, £4 5s to £5 15s. Competition was good and prices more than held , their own with rates ruling outside.
