SEATB TORN UP ALONG RIVER. MATTER IN POLICE HANDS. Attention was drawn by the Hamilton Beautifying Society’s foreman, in • his report to the Society at its meeting last evening, to the latest example of vandalism perpetrated on the River • Bank. Seats had been torn up and thrown down the'bank and others had had filthy language scrawled all over them. Attention was also drawn to the practice'of certain cyclists racing along thq path to the danger of pedestrians. '! it was decided to place the matter in the hands of the police, requesting that control be exercised on the River •Bank, especially on Sundays.
