AIR-MINDED INDEED.
When fourteen-year-old Christine Parr, the daughter of Sir James Parr, made her first flight, at Hanworth Air Club there was a very amusing illustration of the air-nundedness of the youngest moderns. There came the question of someone to accompany the future aviatrix as second passenger in the Desoutter coupe that Lieutenant Jones, of the N.F.S., was taking up. "If nobody wants to and Miss Parr would feel happier with someone beside her, my daughter will love to go, and she’s a very good Chaperon for flrst-flighters,” suggested the pilot. Miss Jones is aged three years. Her services were not required!
