WOMEN’S INSTITUTE.
THE RAGLAN BRANCH. At, t'he monthly meeting of the Raglan Women's Institute, Mrs A. L. Pegler presided over a large company. ' Mrs Drage, from Wales, gave an interesting address on Institute work in the Old Country. Mrs J. M. Thompson sang two songs. After tea had been served, Mrs Drage gave a demonstration of rugmaking. Mesdames N. E. Pegler, G, Pooley and C. Beach were hostesses. A “bring and buy” stall helped matters financially. The meeting was brought to a close with the National Anthem.
