MATAMATA STOCK SALE. The Farmers' Co-operative /Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report:— At our Matamata stock sale an average yarding of cattle and sheep came forward, prices throughout being easier, with no demand for young stock. A good yarding of/baconers and porkers came forward, and a medium yarding of store pigs, which maintained late rates. Quotations: Heavy fat cows, £8 15s to £lO ss; medium, £7 2s 6d to £8; light, £5 5s to £6 15s; store cows, £3 to £4 ss; cows with calves, £4 to £8; potting hulls, £3 15s to £7;. choice daily heifers, close to profit, £11; Jersey heifers, r.w.b., £6. 10s to £8; prime fat woolly hoggets, 28s 9d; good framed m.s. woolly lambs, 12s 6d to 15s 6d; m.s. lambs, 8s to 8s 9d. Pigs: Heavy baconers, £4 3s to £4 medium, £3 14s to £4; light, £3 5s to £3 11s; heavy porkers, £2 18s to £1 3s; light, £2 9s to £2 15s; good stores, 32s to 38s; slips, 22s to 30s; weaners, 9s to £l.
