E. R. E. Ross, of Te Kuili, and Messrs. J. Budge and Perrott, of Otorohanga, eulogised Mr. Kedgley and spoke in commendatory terms of his work. His departure would be deeply regretted. Mr. Kedgley intimated that if the call were placed in his hands he had decided to accept it. The matter having been submitted to the vote and carried, the moderator (Rev. J. T. Burrows) handed the call to Mr. Kedgley, assuring him of their best wishes for his future. Mr. Kedgley, in reply, paid a tribute to the splendid band of officers and members at Otorohanga. lie thanked members of the Waikato Presbytery for their kind wishes and pointed out that in that Presbytery he had begun his work not only as a home missionary, but also as a minister. It was resolved that the pastoral be dissolved as from the date of Mr. Kedglcy’s induction to St. Peter's and that the Rev. J. .Lutterworth act as interim moderator of the vacant charge.
