PADDOCK SALE,
CHOICE HERD CHANGES HANDS. A paddock sale reported by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., proves that dairy farmers recognise tlie value of herds, which attain a high average production of •butterfat. They advise having just disposed of Mr J. Ryan’s choice herd of 28 Jersey cows, which averaged 428 lb fat for the 1925-1929 season on one of his farms near Te Awamutu at £2O per nead to a Matamata buyer.
