EDUCATION MINISTER.
VISIT TO THIS DISTRICT. TWO DAYS IN RAGLAN. FUNCTIONS AT HAMILTON.
The Minister of Education, Hon. H. Atmore, will spend several days in this district, commencing on Saturday. He will leave Wellington on Friday night, and will open the school swimming baths at Leamington on Saturday afternoon. From Leamington he will proceed to To Kuiti, and on Sunday, in company with Sir A. T. Ngata. Mr W. J. Broadfoot, M.P., Mr W. Lee Martin, M.P., Mr F. Lye, M.P., and Mr Rigg (soil analyst for the Cawthron Institute) he will visit the Mairoa and Kopaki districts. The latter visit is likely to be of more than usual interest. On Monday the Minister will return to Hamilton. He will visit the Frankton School in the morning, and in the afternoon will open and addressto. afternoon will open the additions to the local Technical School.. He will spend Tuesday and Wednesday visiting schools in the Raglan electorate, in company with Mr Lee Martin, M.P.
