BRIDGE PARTY.
FAREWELL TO MRS. J. E. PAGE,
Mrs. J. D. Smith was hostess at a bridge party on Monday evening at her home in River Road, in honour of Mrs. J. E. Page, who is leaving Hamilton to make -her home in the South Island. The bridge room was arranged with bowls of scarlet and golden brown flowers.
Mrs. Smith was wearing a frock of gold lace over georgette, the guest-of-honour’s frock being of leaf-green georgette beaded in crystal.
Prizes ’ were won by Mrs. P. R. Stewart, Mrs. A. W. Ward and the Dean and Mrs. G. R. Barnett.
Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Page, Mesdames P. R. Stewart, G. Rogers, E. P. Pcaoocke, S. Simmons, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Monckton, Mr. and Mrs. 11. J. Ferguson, Dr. and Mrs. Hugh Douglas, Mr. and Mrs. H. fl'. Gillies, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Strang, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Ward, Mr, and Mrs. P. Vickery, the Dean and Mrs. G. R. Barnett, Messrs. J. D. Smith and D’Arcy Smith.
