UNITED SERVICES
(To the Editor.)
gj r , Tbe ‘matter of united open-air services by the Christian churches of Hamilton has not escaped the notice .of the Ministers’ Association. 'Your correspondents are only expressing what has been before the ministers a long time. What a splendid example of Christian unity, for instance, was that week in' July of last year when, under the auspices of the Association, missions were held simultaneously in the churches of the town with an open-air service each day at noon a prominent feature. Then that enthusiastic united church service of thanksgiving which practically filled the Theatre Royal witli people representing all denominations, an indication of that spirit of unity for which your correspondents plead. I should like to state, too, that the Ministers’ Association have, as a matter of fact, arranged for a united open-air service to take place at Ferry Bank on •the afternoon nf Sunday, April 13. I am sure your correspondents will watch the columns of your valuable paper for further details. —1 am, etc., J. HASLOP, , Hon. Secretary Hamilton Ministers’ , Association.
