WORE ROOM NEEDED. ■MEN’S SLEEPING QUARTERS. The need for increased accommodation at the fire station to provide for larger and better sleeping quarters for the men on the premises, was stressed by Mr A. Craig, brigade superintendent, at the annual meeting of the Hamilton Fire Board to-day. Members expressed sympathy with the position of the firemen, and agreed that the accommodation could he improved. It might even be necessray, they considered, to seek another site for the station. A sub-committee consisting of Messrs J. Gilbert, acting-chairman, and Mr A. E. Manning, was appointed to make investigations and report.
