PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT. PLAV ON HAMILTON LAWNS. HANDICAP SINGLES IN PROGRESS. Ideal playing conditions prevailed for to-day’s games in the South Auckland championship croquet tournament which was continued on the Hamilton Club's lawns. The handicap doubles competition is now almost completed and to-day’s play was mainly devoted to the handicap singles section. The championship singles and doubles were also continued on the Frankton Club's lawns. The latest results are as follows: — Handicap Doubles. Mrs Meiklo and Miss Ibbotson, 26, v. Mrs Munro and Mrs Curling, 7. Airs Goldsbury and Mrs Margison, 26, v. Mrs Wigzell and Mrs O’Brien, 12. Mrs Hargreaves and Mi's Salisbury, 26, v. Mrs Lamprill and Mrs Sayers, 22. In the “ B ’’ section of the Handicap Doubles, two pairs tied for the leading position. They are Mesdames Ilawken and Brockelsby and Coombes and Kibblewhite and they will play off to decide final honours. Mesdames Hodgkinson and York, 26, v. Mesdames O’Brien and Wigzell, 17.
