PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT. PLAV ON HAMILTON LAWNS. HANDICAP SINGLES IN PROGRESS. Ideal playing conditions prevailed for to-day’s games in the South Auckland championship croquet tournament which was continued on the Hamilton Club's lawns. The handicap doubles competition is now almost completed and to-day’s play was mainly devoted to the handicap singles section. The championship singles and doubles were also continued on the Frankton Club's lawns. The latest results are as follows: — Handicap Doubles. Mrs Meiklo and Miss Ibbotson, 26, v. In the “ B ’’ section of the Handicap Doubles, two pairs tied for the leading position.
