The estimated expenditure is £3O 813.000, leaving a deficit for the current year of £1,388,000, which will he parlly met toy the surplus and also tov ihc discontinuance of the 20 per cent, rebate on the income lax, amounting to over £ooo,ooo. The value of wool exports m IJ'-J decreased by £2,300,000 and maize by £1,860,000. -
