ALLEGED FORGERY.

YOUNG MAN CHARGED. A REMAND GRANTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MASTERTON, Wednesday. Three charges of forgery in respect, of cheques were preferred against John James Martin Butcher, aged 20 years, when lie appeared in Court this morning. On the application of the police accused was remanded until April 2, on hail of £2OO. Accused is to report daily to the police. Other charges arc pending.
