Dr. Vilults, who is motor cycling round the world and lias spent some time in Hamilton, will sail for the United States to-morrow. Mr George Cruickshank, formerly stipendiary magistrate at Invercargill, who during the past year has been on an extended tour abroad has returned. Rev. Dr. Hugh Black, professor of practical theology at the Union Theological Seminary, New' York, is a through passenger hv the Niagara from Vancouver to Sydney. Mr. and Mrs. James Pomeroy will leave Hamilton to-day for Auckland where they will depart by the Maunganui on Friday for Australia. They will he away some months. Messrs C. W. Rainier, W. 11. Makin (Wellington), T. L. Ranks (Auckland), R. Cock (New Plymouth), S. W. Whyte (llawcra), and M. Stewart (Fcilding) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Auckland (says an Auckland paper) loses a highly capable headmaster with ihe transfer of Mr P. J. Scfton, who has had charge of the Napier Street school for more than three years to the headunastcrship of Cambridge District Jligli School. The transfer, which has been authorised under the list of appointments of the Auckland Education Board, takes effect, from the beginning of next month.
