OTAGO CLUB.
FIRST SOCIAL EVENING. The first soqial evening of the newly-formed Otago Club was held in the Concert Chamber of the Winter Show building on Saturday night, when a large number of Southerners gathered to spend a very happy time. The room was charmingly decorated with bowls of hydrangeas and belladonna lilies, and the tables were arranged with gold flowers. The hostess, Mrs F. W. Platts, was wearing a charming French frock of peach georgette falling to an uneven hemline. Among the many present were: — Miss IS'. E. Finlayson, Mrs W. Fraser, Mrs A.
