HOCKEY.
IVIORRINSVILLE CLUB. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The Morrinsville Hockey Club's annual meeting, at which Mr E. 'Grigg presided, was well attended and keen interest was taken in the proceedings. The balance-sheet showed the finances of the club to be in a satisfactory state. The report of the last season stated that the club had won the Piako Hockey Association’s championship and a number of its players were included in -the association's representative team. It was decided to again enter two learns in the competition. The first p:acticc to be held on April 12. The following officers were elected: Patron, .Mr G. Howie; president, Mr J. M. Thompson; vice-presidents, Messrs G. M. Uummer, J. 11. Wyatt, L. W. Ellis and C. E. Adams; secretary and treasurer, Mr E. Munn-Browne; auditor, Mr Kelly; management committee, Messrs E. Grigg, 11. Crickett, J. Evetts, E. Stirling, and the secretary; delegates to Piako Hockey Association, Messrs 11. Crickett, E. Grigg, and J. M. Thompson.
