DEAR EVERYONE, — Johnny and Joan wondered how they could get oustide again without being seen by the rag policeman. “ Ah! I know,” cried Uncle Rabbit. “Take this lantern and use my secret passage. It looked an awfully dark place, and I think both the twins and their pets were just a little bit afraid.' However, as they went—what a queer little tunnel it was!—lt seemed in stretch for miles and miles. It was ever so dark and Johnny’s lantern threw strange shadows on the walls, while tiny roots of the trees above them hung from the roof like pieces of string. Suddenly the passage stopped and a ladder loomed up before our adventurers. “ I wonder where this leads to?” exclaimed Johnny. And I wonder, too, don’t you? well, we shall find out next week. PETER PAN.
