THE SCHOOL VACATION.
SHOULD IT BE LATER? (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. A proposal disecussed by the Education Board this morning was that Ihe annual summer vacation in primary schools be taken in February and early March, instead of December and January, in order to get the best weather. It was decided to call a conference of bodies interested. It was mentioned that if tne proposal were adopted, the Government would be approached to extend 1 ailway excursion fares to early March.
