Y.M.C.A. CONFERENCE.
OPENED AT CHRISTCHURCH. RELIGION ALWAYS PROGRESSING. (By Telegraph—Press Assneiation.) ■CII.RISTCIIURCH, Thursday. The tenth annual conference of the New Zealand Y.M.C.A. began this morning, Mr J. W- Hillary presiding. In an address to the delegates Rev. J. Lawson-Robcrtson said: “Wc arc not going Lo right youth by ramming down their throats what we were taught. Religion is not a static tiling; it is always progressing.”
