GOLF.
ANNUAL MEETING. HAMILTON LADIES’ CLUB. The annual meeting of the Hamilton Ladies’ Golf Club was held last evening, with a large number of members in attendance. The president, Mrs. E. J. Mears, was in the chair. Officials for the coming season were appointed and resulted in the following appointments being made:— ■Patroness, Mrs Douglas; President, Mrs Mears; vice-presidents, Mesdames] Ilay, Gillies and Farrar; captain, Mrs] Ross; secretary, Miss Stevens; treasurer, Mrs Horton; committee, 'Mesdames R. English, Bennett, Primrose, King and Miss Coventry. Votes of thanks were passed to the chairwoman, (Mrs Mears, to the outgoing officers, to the press and to Hie directors of the Farmers’ Auctioneering Company for lire use of the room for the meetings. Business matters were discussed concerning scores from Saturday players and a, recommendation was made to incoming match committee that matches between seniors and juniors be arranged.
