A, Hurd (Conservative, Devizes, Whits) inquired if the Government were inviting the opinions of the Dominions on a suggestion that in order to promote continuity of the Empire economic policy, a representative of both the Government and Opposition parties should attend the Imperial Economic Conference, while leaving full Ministerial policy with the Imperial Conference? Mr Ramsay MacDonald replied that the considerations which determined the decisions of the Imperial 'Conference applied equally to the Economic Conference. Replying to Mr Ormsby Gore (Conservative, Staffs, Stallord), the Prime Minister said the two conferences would beJueld simultaneously.
