COME TO THE FAIR.
THREE DAYS’ ATTRACTION
PUBLIC SUPPORT MERITED
For some weeks an energetic committee of workers has been preparing for the monster fair to be held at Ferry .Bank on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Last year the fair was well patronised and proved highly successful, and if weather conditions remain favourable the event should be even more popular this year. It is appropriate that the site of the fair, which ‘is being held to benefit the Beautifying Society, affords such a fine example of what this live body has done for Hamilton. Few organisations in the town merit stronger public support than the Beautifying Society, and the appreciation of the citizens for all that has been done for them during the year is expected to be reflected in the financial results.
There will be ample to amuse. All manner of goods will be obtainable at a variety of stalls. Side-shows, always an enjoyable feature, will be in abundance. One of the leading attractions will be a party of native entertainers, while a troop of illusionists will introduce a novel form of entertainment. At certain times the Waikato Regimental and Hamilton Municipal Band will be in attendance. The fair will be officially opened by Mr. J. A. Young, M.P. for the district, at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
