FAREWELL PARTY.
GOLF COMMITTEE ENTERTAINS,
The 1928-29 golf committee of the Hamilton Ladies’ Club gave a very pleasant farewell party at the Lyceum Club on Saturday evening, in honour of Mrs A. Joll, who leaves shortly, to maJce her home in Putaruru. Progressive bridge was played in the circles’ room, which was charmingly decorated with zinias and sunflow'ers, and the prize was won by Miss Stevens. 'Supper w r as served in the lounge, during which the president, Mrs E. J. Mears, presented the guest-of-honour with a crystal bowl. Those present were:-—Mesdames Joll, E. J. Mears, York, IT. T. Gillies, D. Hay, Horton, E. M. Masters, P. G Russell. P. R. Stewart, G Primrose, A. J. Bond, H. G. Boss. 0. B. Farrer, A. Budd, Misses M. Stevens and M Wilkinson
