Corn Flour *oz. Chopped Peel Method: Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time alternately with a little corn flour. Stir in the rest of the corn flour the chopped .peel and the baking powder. Corn Flour 2 Eggs i Teaspoonful Baking 3oz. Sifted Sugar Powder Grated rind of 1 Lemon. 2oz. Butter Method: Measure out the ingredients. Butter a one-pound cake tin. Beat the butter to a cream. Add the sugar and mix well. Break in the eggs and beat all well together. Stir in lightly the corn flour and beat well till thoroughly mixed. Stir in the grated, rind of lemon. Last of all, add the baking powder. Mix well, pour into the prepared cake tin and put at once into a quick oven. Bake for half an hour, turn out to cool on a wire tray. Class 475 Melting Moments. Time, 10 minutes. Boz. Corn Flour 3oz. Castor Sugar 1 Tcaspoonful Baking Flavouring of Lemon or Vanilla Powder 2 Eggs 6oz. Butter or Margarine. Method: Measure out the Ingredients. Butter some small patty tins. Cream the butter and sugar together. Beat up the egg s, and add them alternately with the corn flour until both arc used up. Last of all, add the baking powder and flavouring. Put a teaspoonful of the mixture into each of the patty tins. Bake for ten minutes. These make delicious afternoon tea cakes.
