RAILWAY PICNIC.

EXCURSION TO CAMBRIDGE. A SUCCESSFUL OUTING. SPLENDID SPORTS PROGRAMME. The Frankton Junction railway employees’ picnic, held on the Cambridge racecourse yesterday, proved a huge success. Favoured with ideal weather a crowded train left the Frankton station with its happy freight of picnickers. The engine was elaborately decorated, and was a tribute to those who went to such pains to make this a feature of the outing. A musical programme, provided by the Cambridge Band on the picnic ground, was much appreciated, and added considerably. to the enjoyment of the outing.
