PRESENTATIONS.
TO BRIDES-TO-BE. ! . j A presentation was marie <\n Sat.uri day. March the Bth., by the Cambridge Reform Supporters, at the home of Mr Stewart Reid in Ngahinapouri. to his daughter Flora, whose marriage took place, last week, to Mr Clyde Tay- ! lor, of Tauranga. Mr Hicks spoke of L,the support given by Mrs and Miss i Reid to Mr n, S. Reid during his political campaign. In making the presentation, Miss Hicks asked Miss Reid to accept a handsome mahogany clock and their wishes for her future happiness. Miss Reid thanked those present for their beautiful gift and Mr Reid spoke on his wife’s behalf of their appreciation of his supporters’ act. The Matamata Old Girls’ Association arranged a swimming party at Okauia on Wednesday evening and took advantage of the opportunity to maJce a presentation to one of their members. Miss Hazel Green, on the occasion of her approaching marriage. After the swim. Mrs J. F. Wells, president of the association and Mrs S. Stockdale, gymnasium instructress, spoke of the bride-to-be’s many good qualities and wished her much joy in her married life. On behalf of the Old Girls. Mrs Wells presented Miss Green with a picture.
