Baihant, cx -Minifccr, of Public Works, who has been arrested. Previous to his arrest, he had n long interview with M. Franqueville. January 10. Tho Bourse remains depressed; and as an emeute is feared on tho reassembling of ' the members -; of the Chamber-«ofDeputies, the aitillery have been summoned to hold themselves in readiness to clear the streets. M.M. Froycinet and Loubet will retire from the Ministry. M. Ribot remains Premier and Minister for tlifi Interior. No reasons are given for the resignations. The Opportunists are scheming to divert attention , from the Panama scandal to Morocco and all are trying to get up an agitation against England.
