Gakrick, Agent-General for Queensland, writes to the Times denying the statement of Sir Arthur Gordon, formerly High Commissioner of the Western Pacific, that letters patent in New Guinea would expire in five years, when the country would revert to Queensland, who would then be able to recruit natives.
