Letters found in tlic Panama Canal Company's office implicate man)' members of the Chamber of Deputies, anil disclose the name of an ambassador of high rank who sold his support for 300,000 francs. Le Gaulois asserts that tho late Baron Reinach promised M. Claes, an inventor, the 811111 of ono hundred thousand francs to poison M. Herz, and that Claos, after receiring onefifth of the amount, confessed the conspiracy to M. Herz. Le Siecle states that those in custody in connection with the Panama Canal disclosures will shortly be released on parole. December 29. An analysis of the viscera of the late Baron Reiuach discloses no traces of poison, and the analysts conclude that death must have resulted from natural causes. London, December 20. Pear is prevalent in Franco that a political crisis will be the outcome of the Panama Canal revelations.
