AUCKLAND V. OTAGO. (BY TELEGRAPH, —OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, Last Night. The interprovincial cricket match between Otago and Auckland was commenced in the Domain on Thursday. Auckland went in first, their innings closing for 7S. R. J. Yates 10. T. A. Moresby to, and R. Neill 14, being the only ones to reach doable figures. Otago in their first innings made 121, the top scottrs being : A. H. Fisher 50, W. Johnston 21, arid J. Croxford 24, and these were the only ones to reach doable figures. Two wickets were down in Auckland s second inninßS for 48 when play for the day ceased on resuming to-day, Auckland were all out for 80. Requiring 38 to win, Otago took the wickets and knocked up 41 with the loss of two wickets, tlnis winning by S wickets and four runs.
