R.M. COURT, HAMILTON.
Yesterday.—Before Caot. Jackson, R.M, Breach bye-laws.—M. Mulcahy was charged, on the information of Constable Forbes, with committing a breach nf the Borough by-laws by driving two horses and a waggon on the footpath near the Episcopalian Church. Defendant said that the proper crossing was in such a condition that it was impassible, and the only way to unload the timber on the allotment was by driving upon the footpath. He pleaded guilty, and was fined 5s and costs (Us Gd). —P. Carthy, charged with a simitar offence was also fined 5s and costs (lis Gd).
J. Park v. W. Manning.-Claim, £3 4s Gd. Judgment was given for the amount claimed ;iud costs ((is).
School Boy.— Young Thomas Edwards was again charged with not attending regularly at school. Since promising the R.M. to attend at a late court day he had been at school on 39 out of 57 occasions. His Worship again reprimanded the boy, and asked the mother to try and make some efforts to control him.
