The Ngaruawahia annual race meeting (the programme for which appears elsewhere), to be held on Saturday, January 2Lst, promises to be one of the most successful meetings ever held at the Delia township.GThe Club hopes to have the new grandstand, which is to accommodate 200 persons, completed by Hie date of the meeting, and to effect various other improvements tu the course. Horse-owners are reminded that acceptances for the first day's races at the South Auckland Racing Club's Summer Meeting close with the Secrof an- (Mr <i. H. Carter), Hamilton, or Mr H. H. Hayr. Auckland, at 0 p.m., to-morrow (Friday). Acceptances will not be received unless accompanied with the necessary cash and full particulars as to description of horse, rider's colours, etc. _____
