MoNicol Reports.—At Waitoa, on Friday, XBth November, only a small nnm- i ber of cattle yarded, and principally t»t cattle. \Vnll-bred two to three-year-old ; steers brought from £3 4j to £4 Ha ; yearlings, £2 5s to £2 8s ; fat cows, £4 2s 6d to £5 10a; store cows, £3 2s (id to £3 7s o'd ; fat lambs, 7s 6d ; fat sheep, lis Gd to 13s 3d; ewes and lambs, lis 6d, At Ohaupo, l)n Tuesday last, 350 head of cattle were yarded, principally young steers and heifers, and competition was very brisk. Cattle of this description still being on the rise, sold at higher priceß than at previous sales. Yearlings to eighteenmonths' steers, from £2 16» to £3 3s; heifers of same age. £2 la to £2 14s; steers and heifers (mixed), £2 14s; store cows and calves, £3 8s to £3 lis; two and half-year-old store steers, £3 15a to £4 ss; fat cows, £4 10s to £5 2s Gd. Lougwool hogaati, lis 6d; shorn cross-bred hoggets, 8s to 9s 5d ; shorn merino wethers, 4s lOd > fat aheap, 9s to lis.
